Chain Buster Endurance Series:

Spin Lite Cycling is proud to sponsor the Chain Buster Endurance Series for 2011! These events are designed for mountain bikers to have fun, be competitive and to create a challenge for every rider while providing an endless supply of great memories and the chance to meet great people just like you! No matter your level of riding (beginner to expert), this series has something to offer everyone.

At each Chain Buster Endurance Event, Spin Lite will display several sets of custom built bicycle wheels including our 1465 gram 29er wheels, a pair of 1200 gram Alloy tubeless ready road wheels, and other wheel sets as examples of what types of wheels we can build for you.

Local Group Rides for the Season...

There are several local group rides in the area.

Road Rides:

SABA hosts several weekly group road rides each week. The schedule is as follows starting April 1st, 2012:

Tuesday Nights: 6:00 PM - leaves from Hayesville Square in Downtown Hayesville. Approximately 20 miles out and back through the Tusquittee area.

Wednesdays Nights: 6:00 PM - Leaves from Blairsville Bikes & Hikes. Route varies. Call for more details.

Thursday Nights: 6:00 PM - Leaves from John C. Campbell Folk School in Brasstown, NC. 15 mile loop or 2 times around for 30 miles.

Saturday Morning: CHANGED TO 8:00 AM Effective 4/28/12 - Meet at Moschetto's Continental Cuisine parking lot in Young Harris, Ga. ready to ride at 9:00 AM. Approx 30-35 miles.

We will try to have an A group and a B group.

Average speeds for the groups are as follows:

A group - 16 to 18 mph average

B group - 12 to 15 mph average (waits for slower riders at designated points)

Mtn Bike Rides:

Ongoing Sundays - 2:00 PM - Meet at Jackrabbit Mountain Trailhead

CHATTANOOGA, TN - May 1, 2010: Spin Lite Cycling was well represented at the 2010 Three State Three Mountain Challenge held annually in Chattanooga, TN. The ride offer both a metric and full century and is well organized and challenging. (L to R - Tod Fullerton, Mike Robinson, Bob DeLong, Kate DeLong, & Ron Scroggs).

Tour de Cure May 16, 2010 - "On Sunday May 16th several members of SABA will be riding in this year’s Tour de Cure in Atlanta. Bruce Kotz formed Team Brit 2 years ago after his youngest daughter Britney was diagnosed as a type 1 diabetic at the age of 15. In two years Bruce, his family and SABA member Eugene Klibanoff have raised over $10,000.00 for this great cause.

Spin Lite Cycling is planning on having a team racing in the Georgia Cyclo-Cross Series www.georgia-cyclocross.com

ELLIJAY, GA: Eric Bilodeau (2nd from left), representing Spin Lite Cycling, finished Second at the Georgia State Championship Mountain Bike Race #7 held in Ellijay, Georgia. Eric finished the season winning the overall Georgia State Championship Series in CAT 2 (formerly Sport Class). Riding for Spinlite Cycling, he has had 10 top ten finishes in 2009.
