These wheels are built to the same high standards that all of our wheels
are built to. These wheels will stay True and Round for a minimum of
1 year (See warranty and wheel building info). We use top of the line
Components that have proven themselves in the industry to be of the highest
quality. The only recommendations for riders over 190 lbs is going with
a higher spoke count to handle the extra weight.

14/15 gauge spokes. Smaller sizes will weigh less. Call or email for

Wheel set comes built with Velocity’s most popular
MTB rim sized for Recumbent use. It is superior in strength
while still maintaining a low weight. This Rim built with
double butted spokes and your choice high quality hubs will

Spin Lite A23 Recumbent Wheelset
Description:
The A23 rim is based off our proven Aerohead race rim. With a wider footprint, the A23 allows for a more aerodynamic rim/tire combination when paired with a 23c tire. The tire profile mimics the characteristics of a tubular, gaining increased control and lower rolling resistance without the inconvenience of tubular glue or the dangers of irreparable roadside mechanicals.
You have a choice
of high quality hubs depending on your needs and price
range. All this put together with Alloy nipples and Sapim’s Race spokes 14/15 gauge.This wheel set
can be built with lighter gauge spokes
for lighter riders by choosing the spoke option at the
top of the page. We build this with different
spoke count options based on rider weight and riding
style. This is a very good wheel set for Road Racing
especially when the road is going vertical.
