These wheels are built to the same high standards that all of our wheels are built to. These wheels will stay True and Round for a minimum of 1 year (See warranty and wheel building info). We use top of the line Components that have proven themselves in the industry to be of the highest quality. The only recommendations for riders over 190 lbs is going with a higher spoke count to handle the extra weight.

Spin Lite EUI-S Wheel Scandium/Alloy Wheelset:

Description:
These wheels may just be the best do everything Alloy Clinchers available. They are super light weight, at approx 1505 grams, stiff enough for very good power transfer for both Sprinting and Climbing, and still very Aerodynamic with a low 18/24 spoke count, and built with the most Aerodynamic, highest fatigue resistance rated spoke on the market today, the CX-Ray spoke made by SAPIM. (Same spoke Zipp uses in all their wheel sets).

This wheel set is Built with Hed's Special 23mm wide Scandium clincher rim for the front and an alloy(not Scandium) for the rear. The rear rim is the same rim shape and look and strength as the Scandium, however the Alloy rear rim is 55 grams heavier than the scandium rim. This change is due to the fact that Hed will no longer sell the Scandium rims.

This wheel set is only available until our current inventory of Scandium rims is gone. Both wheels feature White Industries super strong and durable H3 Road hubs. This wheel set will out perform wheel sets that cost Hundreds more.

Spin Lite EUI-X Alloy Cyclocross Wheelset:

Description:
These wheels may just be the best Cyclocross Alloy Clinchers available (or best Road Clincher set for riders over 210 lbs. They are super light weight. Spin Lite ZTR Alpha 340 Tubeless Wheel Set:

Description:
These rims are made by Stan at Notubes.com, the leader in light weight rims for Mountain bikes, now has a Road rim.

This rim is exceedingly smooth, extraordinarily fast and unquestionably the next step forward in performance. The Alpha 340 represents the first implementation of Bead Socket Technology (BST) for the road and cyclocross market. The short sidewalls and wide inside rim cavity allow for lower tire pressure while maintaining a firm tire feel with decreased rolling resistance and a more compliant ride quality.

The low weight and semi-aero profile of the Alpha 340 makes for a fast accelerating, stiff and strong wheel built to meet the needs of every rider. Average weight for the rim is 350 grams. Fully tubeless compatible with the yellow tape

The ZTR Alpha Tubeless wheelset is built with silver CX-Ray spokes, the best aerodynamic spoke now available. As light as titanium spokes, CX-Ray still receive the best results in fatigue testing of any spoke. You can upgrade this wheelset to black CX-Ray spokes for an additional fee here.

Spin Lite A23 Wheel Set

Aerohead / Chris King, Velocity, Ultegra, or Dura Ace Hubs

Description:
This wheel set is built with the new Velocity 23mm wide A23 rim (basically a 3mm wider and slightly taller version of the very popular Velocity Aerohead rim). The wider profile improves aerodynamics by making the rim width match the tire width to eliminate the tire buldge, at the same time this rim is only 18 grams heavier than the Aerohead rim was and strong enough to build with 4 fewer spokes (approx 20 gram per wheel savings) than the rider would have used with the Velocity Aerohead wheel set. The wider rim also improves rolling resistance and traction by increasing air volume in the tire.

This wheel set is built with with Sapim Race 14/15g spokes but can be upgraded to the CX-Ray for maximum light weight and maximum Aerodynamic advantage, or upgrade to Sapim Laser spokes to lighten the wheel set up. both upgrades are available at the top of this page.
